If you update a back-up bootable volume created in earlier versions of Catalina (10.15.4 and earlier) that will still boot normally. The current version 3.3.1 will appear to run normally but the new back-up volume created will not boot. June 2020 Version: 3.3.1 A heads up that the most recent Catalina update 10.15.5 apparently has an Apple bug that breaks SuperDupers ability to create a new bootable volume. Its a pity some customer services arent as good and as helpful as SuperDupers. Within about half an hour or so, maybe less I received a reply, try this link.
